The Electoral Literacy Club has Organized awareness session to “register students for voter ID cards” at the St. John College of Humanities and Sciences on 01st October, 2024 at 11.00 AM. An awareness to create among student’s on the voting rights of Indian citizens and how it is our responsibility to give vote for fair and valid electoral process.

Hospitality Department of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences celebrated World Tourism Day on 27th September 2024 in a very grand manner in the college campus

The Literary Club and BA Department of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences have organised a session on ‘Music and Poetry in Cinema’ on 27th September, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:30 PM. The objectives of the event were to make students aware about the field of Cinema, Poetry and Music, to develop their interest in the respective field etc. Mr. Sanjay Mishra, a renowned lyricist from the field of Indian music industry was invited as a speaker.

The inaugural session started at 11:00am. The speaker Mr. Sanjay Mishra arrived at college at 11:45AM. The Vice principal of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences, Ms. Pooja Shetty felicitated the speaker. Dr. Ravi Shankar Mishra, Sr. Laura Pinto( Head, administrator, SJCHS), were also present for the inaugural session. Later, the College Prayer was played. After the prayer, the speaker started his session.

Onam Celebratoions were held in SJCHS Campus on 25th Sep 2024. The festival was organised by HS Department of our college. Delicious onam food was served during this occasion

A mental health session “Breaking the Silence “ which focused on overcoming mental health struggles was exclusively conducted for girls by Ms. Snehalata Athaide on 25th September 2024.
