Eligibility:

Candidate shall have passed HSC examination in Science stream conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent degree from other boards.

Duration of Program:

This course shall be a full time course. The duration of course will be six semesters spread over there years.

Program Details:

First Year: Semesters I & II

Subject Combinations:  Each Subject has two theory papers and practicals every semester.

Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics (PCM) OR Physics-Chemistry-Botany (PCB)

Foundation Course(I and II)- Compulsory course

Second Year: Semesters III & IV

Subject Combinations: Students can opt for any one of the following subject combinations. Each Subject has three theory papers and practicals every semester.

Physics-Chemistry (PC)

Chemistry – Mathematics (CM)

Chemistry – Botany (CB)

Foundation Course(III and IV)- Compulsory course

Third Year: Semesters V & VI

Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics/Botany

Students can opt for any one of the subjects as a major subject from his/her second-year subjects. Each Subject has four major papers and one applied paper with practicals in every semester

Scheme of Evaluation of B.Sc:

Each theory paper is of 100 Marks and practical is of 50 Marks(Semester VI Applied paper practical is of 100 Marks). Passing percentage is 40%.
