Capacity Building Committee Conducts Training on Examination and Evaluation
The Capacity Building Committee of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences (Autonomous) organized a Training on Examination and Evaluation on 12 June 2026 at the SJCHS Event Hall for all faculty members.
The training session was conducted by Dr. Charles Pais, Examination Advisor, St. John Technical and Education Campus, under the coordination of Mr. Ameer Shaikh, Activity In-charge.
During the session, Dr. Charles Pais highlighted the ethical and professional responsibilities involved in the examination and evaluation process. He emphasized the importance of fairness, transparency, objectivity, and unbiased assessment, stressing that students should be awarded marks based solely on their performance. He also encouraged educators to view evaluation as a significant responsibility that contributes to students’ academic growth and future.
The interactive training enhanced participants’ understanding of ethical evaluation practices and reinforced the importance of maintaining integrity, credibility, and excellence in the assessment process.
