The 132nd birth anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan was celebrated at St. John College of Humanities and Sciences on 12th August 2024. Librarians Day is celebrated on the birthday of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Indian librarian and educator called as Father of Library Science in India, whose contributions have had worldwide influence. The role of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan in the development of libraries and their services was considered to be unforgettable.

Training and Placement Cell of our college organised QSpiders Campus Drive programme on 9th August 2024. M Priyadarshini the lead Technical Tallent Acquisition and G. Sreelekha the Talent Acquisition were the facilitators of the programmed. All the third year students of B.Sc. (I.T.) and B.Sc. (C.S.) very actively participated in the programme.

Two days Talent was held for the student in Music and Literature on 30th July 2024 and 31st July 2024

Green Club of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences celebrated WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY on Monday, 29 July 2024 in the college campus. As a part of the celebration they performed skits to explain the importance of recycling and distributed 800 seed bombs.
