A Two Days Inter School & Inter Collegiate event Sphoorti with the tag line Unleash Your Potential, was conducted on 20th and 21st September 2024 in collaboration by the Arts and Commerce department of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences, Palghar. The objectives of the event were to give exposure to students’ extra curricular activities. Most importantly, the event was conducted for two days where in total there were 17 different activities. For each activity there was a teacher as well as student coordinator.

BSc(IT) and BSc(CS) Departments of the college along with the collaboration of IT Company namely Radiant IT Services Pvt. Ltd organised a training programme on Python Development on 21st September 2024.

This programme was called PYTHON FULL STACK Development Workshop. More than 150 students were trained in four IT Laboratories of the college.

Teachers Day celebration held at event hall on 5th September 2024 by student council. All the teaching and non-teaching faculty participated. Students made all the faculty joyful with several activities.

Research Cell under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has successfully conducted Two days Orientation programme on SPSS software on 24/08/2024 and 26/08/2024. Dr. Dinesh Gabhane was the resource person on 24/08/2024. He gave a brief introduction about the SPSS software and its various options.He also explained about the data entry in the software to help analyse its ANOVA, Standard Deviation and T Test. Dr. Brijesh Sharma was the resource person on 26/08/2024. He also explained about the data entry in the software to help analyse its Coefficient of Correlation, Regression and Logistic Regression. The programme was conducted for all the teaching staff to enhance their statistical skill through SPSS software that will eventually help them in their research endeavors.
