Web Designing Competition

The Department of B.Sc. IT, CS and DS organized a Web Designing Competition for undergraduate students with the objective of providing a platform to showcase and enhance their technical and front-end development skills. The event encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and the practical application of web technologies in a healthy competitive environment.

Students registered through a QR-code–based Google Form, and a total of 10 students from First Year, Second Year, and Third Year participated. The competition was conducted for a duration of 2 hours, during which students designed and developed their web projects within the given time constraints.

The competition was based on the following themes:
●    Personal Portfolio Website
●    Tourism in Maharashtra

Participants were free to choose any one theme and interpret it creatively through their web designs. The use of AI tools was strictly prohibited, and students were allowed to use any web technologies of their choice, encouraging originality and innovation.

The competition was judged by Mr. Yuvraj Prajapati, Assistant Professor, Department of B.Sc. IT. Evaluation was carried out based on design and layout, originality, content quality, navigability and usability, and overall performance, and final scores were calculated accordingly.

Winners of the Competition:
First Rank: Khushi Singh – FY B.Sc. CS
Second Rank: Varun Suthar – SY B.Sc. CS
Third Rank: Om Pandey – TY B.Sc. IT


E-certificates were awarded to all participants, and winners received e-certificates of achievement.

The competition proved to be an engaging and enriching experience, enabling students to showcase their technical and creative skills, apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, and compete in a spirit of healthy sportsmanship.

SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Encouraged innovative web solutions and the use of modern web technologies.
SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: Promoted digital awareness of tourism, cultural heritage, and sustainable community development.

 The Web Designing Competition was successfully conducted and achieved its objectives by fostering creativity, innovation, and technical proficiency among students. Such activities contribute significantly to holistic student development and strengthen skill-based learning initiatives.
