Bond Beyond Boundaries 2026 – Celebration Raksha Bandhan with Community Outreach

The Department of Commerce & Management (BMS), in collaboration with DLLE and WDC, organised “Bond Beyond Boundaries 2026”, a Raksha Bandhan Celebration and Community Engagement Initiative, on 27th August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at an orphanage on Saphale–Chahade Road. The initiative was coordinated by Ms. Lithiya Subramaniam, with Sajith Sajukumar (SYBMS) as the Student Coordinator, and witnessed the active participation of selected SYBMS and TYBMS students.

The celebration included a Rakhi-tying ceremony, interactive games, team-building activities, creative and recreational sessions, a birthday celebration with cake cutting, and the distribution of refreshments and useful gifts. The students engaged warmly with the children, creating a joyful and memorable experience.

The initiative promoted empathy, inclusivity, teamwork, leadership, communication skills and social responsibility among students. It also provided valuable experiential learning beyond the classroom and encouraged students to participate in future community outreach initiatives.
