St. John Technical Campus – NSS Units, St. John College of Engineering and Management (SJCEM), St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR), St. John College of Humanities and Sciences (SJCHS) in Association with Yuva Mahiti Doot had taken an initiative to create an awareness about the various government schemes under Yuva Mahiti Doot Mobile application Awareness programme. The Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, with the support of UNICEF and active participation of Higher and Technical Education Department has started ‘Yuva Mahiti Doot’ initiative.

The purpose of this initiative is to increase volunteerism among youths and to disseminate information about various Government schemes directly to the prospective beneficiaries through students at graduate and postgraduate level in different streams in colleges all over Maharashtra. Mr. Pankaj Bharwad and Mr. Avinash Kakad ( Representative, Yuva Mahiti Doot, Anulom NGO) were the Chief Guests of the Programme. Mr. Sachin Urade (NSS Programme Officer, SJCEM), Mr. Sachin Gawali (NSS Programme officer, SJCHS), Ms. Sonam Yadav (NSS Programme officer, SJCEM) were present for this Programme.

The introductory speech was given by Ms. Jagruti Goswami (NSS volunteer) who also welcomed the guests. The programme was started by Mr. Pankaj Bharwad by giving information of Yuva Mahiti Doot Application and Awareness about the various government schemes. All Volunteers attended the demo of Yuva Mahiti Doot Mobile application and Process of Registration. All Volunteers registered their names in Yuva Mahiti Doot Mobile app with the help of NSS Programme officers. Total 98 girls volunteers participated in this programme. Ms. Himali Trivedi, NSS volunteer proposed the vote of thanks to all.
