As per the directives received from University of Mumbai, NSS Cell, St. John Technical and Educational Campus has decided to observe with the theme 2020 i.e “Ending of the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Resilience and Impact”
The National Service Scheme Units of St. John Technical and Educational Campus, Palghar organized “ World AIDS Day ” on 1st December, 2020 from 4: 00 pm to 5:00 pm through online mode with active participation of NSS volunteers.

At St. John Technical Campus, Palghar, 1st December 2020, was observed as World Aids Day. Dr. Anitha Chettiar, (Director Institute of Social Service, New Delhi) was invited as a chief guest for the event. She delivered relevant information about HIV / AIDS and spread awareness among all students about the difference between HIV and AIDS, symptoms, precautions to be taken, treatment and test to be done.

Finally, the event concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms. Aishwarya Bhangale, NSS volunteer of St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar. Indeed, it was a memorable day organized by NSS volunteers. St. John Technical campus always creates awareness among students about social consciousness and responsibility for the nation and society
in general.
