NSS Unit of SJCHS organised Eye Donation Awareness Walkathon on 08:00 am, 31st  January 2026 from Jeevan Vikas Shikshan Santha’s S T. Kadam High school & Junior College Palghar to Palghar district headquarters  in Kolgaon, at Boisar Road. The Activity is conducted to create  Social Awareness Campaign regarding blood donation. The programme was organised in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation by Mr. Ameer Shaikh the NSS Programme Officer of the college.

Objectives:
· To spread awareness about the importance of eye donation.
· To encourage community members to pledge their eyes for donation.
· To involve youth in promoting social responsibility and public health awareness.

Session Details:
· NSS volunteers participated in a 5 km Walkathon to promote awareness about eye donation.
· Students walked across the campus and nearby areas carrying awareness messages and interacting with the public.
· The activity was conducted as part of the eye donation awareness initiative in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation.

Outcomes:
· The Walkathon helped spread awareness about eye donation among the local community.
· Students actively participated in promoting the message of organ donation and social responsibility.
· The activity strengthened community engagement and awareness regarding eye donation.
