An Industrial Visit was organized for the students of FYBSc on 2nd March 2026 to Kamla Lifescience Ltd., located at Boisar MIDC. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to pharmaceutical industrial operations and enhance students’ understanding of various departments functioning in a manufacturing unit.

A total of 31 students of FYBSc, accompanied by two staff members Mrs.Namrata Jha and Mrs.Priyanka Save, participated in the visit. The industrial visit commenced at 10:30 AM and concluded at 3:30 PM.

Objectives of the Visit
● To understand the working of pharmaceutical industries.
● To gain knowledge about Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC).
● To observe the functioning of the Microbiology Department.
● To study the manufacturing and packaging processes.
● To interact with industry professionals and understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Departments Covered
During the visit, students were guided through the following departments:
● Quality Assurance (QA) Department
● Quality Control (QC) Department
● Microbiology Department
● Manufacturing Department
● Packaging Department


The students were briefed about documentation procedures, safety measures, testing methods, production processes, and quality standards maintained in the company.

The session was effectively guided by QA Manager, Mr. Satish Patil, who explained the quality systems and regulatory requirements followed by the company. The HR representative, Miss Anjali, also addressed the students and provided insights into industrial work culture, career opportunities, and professional expectations in the pharmaceutical sector.

The visit was highly informative and helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Industrial Visit concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Namrata Jha, expressing sincere gratitude to the management and staff of Kamla Lifescience Ltd. for their valuable time, guidance, and hospitality.

Conclusion: The Industrial Visit to Kamla Lifescience Ltd., Boisar MIDC was a successful and enriching experience for the FYBSc students. It provided meaningful industrial exposure and enhanced their understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality systems
