Enthusia 2025–26: Unleashing the Spirit of Youth
Enthusia 2025-26, the annual youth festival of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences (Autonomous), was a dynamic two-day celebration of talent held on December 8th and 9th, 2025. The event was led by Overall Incharge Ms. Anshu Tiwari. The festival successfully brought together a total of 205 participants, with 81 attendees on Day 1 and 124 on Day 2.
Day 1: Monday, 8th December 2025
Inaugural Function:
The festival commenced at 9:30 am with a series of formal proceedings:
● Welcoming & Prayer: The ceremony began with welcoming dignitaries and the Campus Prayer.
● Ceremonial Start: This was followed by the Lighting of the Lamp and the felicitation of guests.
● Keynote Addresses: Insights were shared through addresses from both the Management and the Principal.
● Official Opening: The event was formally declared open at 9:55 am.
Event Highlights (Day 1): Day 1 featured high-energy cultural competitions primarily held at the Big Ground:
● Survival Game: A team-based challenge coordinated by Ms. Hannah Polson.
● Performing Arts: A variety of Solo, Duet, and Group Dance performances, along with a Singing competition.
● Dramatics: A Skit competition coordinated by Dr. Akansha Thakur.
● Fashion & Pageantry: The afternoon featured a Fashion Show and the Mr. and Miss Enthusia contest, which concluded at 4:00 pm.
Day 2: Tuesday, 9th December 2025:
Technical, Literary, and Indoor Competitions: Day 2 transitioned into diverse skill-based events across the college campus:
● Technical & Innovation: Coding Competitions and Tech Quizzes were held in the Computer Labs, while a Robotic Workshop took place on the 6th-floor passage.
● Literary Arts: Students participated in Poetry Writing, Story Telling, and Creative Writing in designated classrooms.
● Indoor Sports & Strategy: Chess matches were held in the Library, Carrom in the Event Hall, and a Treasure Hunt took place throughout the SJCHS building.
● Creative Skills: Competitions such as Makeup Mania, Nail Art, and a PPT Competition were conducted in various classrooms.
● Business & Media: A Business Plan competition was held in CR 18, and Reel Making took place throughout the building.
Valedictory Function: The event concluded with a formal closing ceremony on Tuesday afternoon:
● Event Review: A comprehensive Enthusia 2025-26 Report was presented at 3:32 pm.
● Prize Distribution: Excellence was recognized during the Prize Distribution Ceremony from 3:50 pm to 4:30 pm.
● Recognition: Student Incharges were formally felicitated for their contributions.
● Conclusion: The festival ended at 4:50 pm with the National Anthem.
