NSS unit of SJCHS organised an Eye Donation Awareness Programme on 21/01/2026, 09:50 a.m. at event hall of college building. The Objective was to Create Health Awareness Programme on Eye Donation. NSS Volunteers and Students participated in the programme. Ms. Pachiki Mali, Social Worker, MOHAN Foundation was the resource person.

· To create awareness about eye donation and its social impact.
· To educate students about the procedure and importance of organ donation.
· To encourage youth to pledge for eye donation and promote responsible citizenship.
Session Highlights:
· Awareness session conducted by Ms. Pachiki Malik from MOHAN Foundation.
· Explanation of eye donation, myths related to organ donation, and its role in restoring vision.
· The programme was conducted under the Mahadrishtri initiative, organized by MOHAN Foundation in collaboration with Kotak Life CSR Initiative.
Outcomes:
· Students gained knowledge about eye donation and its humanitarian value.
· The session encouraged participants to support organ donation awareness in society.
