On 2nd August 2025, the Training and Placement Cell of St. John College of Humanities & Sciences organized a highly interactive and practical guest session titled “Navigating your Career Path: LinkedIn and Digital Presence”.

The session was conducted by Ms. Achinthya Bhat, an experienced HR professional from TATA AIA Life Insurance.

The session focused on the increasing importance of a strong digital identity in the professional world. Ms. Bhat guided students on optimizing their LinkedIn profiles, personal branding strategies, and how to leverage digital platforms to gain visibility and opportunities in the job market.

In addition to the digital focus, Ms. Bhat offered practical insights into HR interviews, discussing common questions, recruiter expectations, and how students can present themselves effectively during campus placements and professional interviews.

The session was well-received, with enthusiastic participation from students. It began with a formal welcome and felicitation by the Training and Placement Officer, Ms. Twinkle Doshi, followed by an engaging and interactive session.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker and all contributors. Students found the session both informative and career-enriching, making it a successful initiative by the Placement Cell.
