The Training and placement cell had organized a guest lecture on the topic “Emerging Trends in Financial Management – Opportunities and Challenges” on 12th July, 2025, Saturday. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of recent developments in the field of financial management and to provide insights into the dynamic nature of global finance. The primary objective of the session was to educate students and faculty members about the evolving landscape of financial management, highlight upcoming opportunities, and shed light on the potential challenges professionals may face in the industry. Mr. Barnwal highlighted some important parameters and highlighted the importance of Digital Transformation in Finance, Career Opportunities, Globalization and Financial Integration, Regulatory and Compliance Challenges.
The lecture was followed by an engaging Q&A session where students posed insightful questions about careers in financial management, the future of cryptocurrencies, and how to adapt to technological changes in the industry. The guest lecture proved to be highly informative and thought-provoking. It provided a comprehensive overview of the current trends shaping financial management and inspired participants to explore new opportunities in the finance sector. The department expressed gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing valuable insights and contributing to the academic enrichment of students. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Vidhi Dani. The overall number of students participating in the session were about 76 participants.
