Day 1 – 21st August 2025
The certification course for TYBMS students of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences commenced with the inaugural session. Ms. Lithiya Subramaniam introduced the guest speakers, and along with Dr. Muktha Jacob (Principal), Mr. Sachin Gawali (BMS HOD), Ms. Vaishnavi Sankhe, and Sr. Renita Dsouza, felicitated them with a token of appreciation.
Principal Dr. Muktha Jacob addressed the students and encouraged them to participate actively. The session, facilitated by Prof. Anjan Raichaudhuri, began with an introduction to the objectives and learning outcomes of the course. The workshop plan and interactive nature of sessions were explained in detail.
The day’s focus was on understanding the concept of entrepreneurship. Through real-life stories of Shakila, Jilian, and Srikanth, students were introduced to entrepreneurial thinking. The session laid a strong foundation for the course, motivating students to think creatively and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

Day 2 – 22nd August 2025
The second session, facilitated by Prof. Anjan Raichaudhuri, continued the entrepreneurial learning series. Students explored the journeys of Subramanyam, The Story of Flower, and the globally renowned firm McKinsey.
Activities were conducted in group settings, where students analyzed stories, discussed observations, and compiled key lessons. The exercise emphasized qualities like leadership, innovation, business strategy, and value creation.

Structured thinking and professionalism are critical for scaling organizations. The session enriched students’ understanding of entrepreneurship beyond theory by linking real-life experiences with business values.

Day 3 – 23rd August 2025
Facilitated again by Prof. Anjan Raichaudhuri, this session emphasized entrepreneurial skills and qualities. Students were introduced to leadership and resilience through stories of Kailash, Narayan, and Balvant.
Group activities were conducted where students recorded their learnings and shared insights. Discussions highlighted the importance of resilience, innovation, adaptability, and leadership in navigating business challenges.
The session emphasized practical applications of these traits to real-world business scenarios, ensuring students understood both the theory and practice of entrepreneurship.

Day 4 – 25th August 2025
The session, conducted by Prof. Randolph Rodricks, focused on group formation and New Product Development (NPD) assignments. Students were divided into groups to encourage teamwork and diverse perspectives.
Each group brainstormed and presented innovative product concepts. The activity enhanced skills in structuring, presenting, and critically analyzing business ideas.
This interactive session also exposed students to practical marketing strategies such as identifying target audiences, branding, and conducting market research.

Day 5 – 26th August 2025
The concluding session, facilitated by Prof. Randolph Rodricks, was dedicated to final project presentations and assessments. Students showcased their innovative product ideas using PowerPoint presentations.
They were evaluated on multiple parameters:
Concept of Product/Idea: originality, feasibility, creativity
Presentation Skills: clarity, structure, delivery
Communication Skills: confidence, articulation, engagement
Teamwork & Effort: collaboration and coordination
The session was highly interactive, with students confidently addressing queries and demonstrating their learning outcomes. Prof. Rodricks appreciated their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork while also providing constructive feedback.
The course concluded on a positive note, with students gaining not just academic knowledge but also practical exposure to idea presentation, communication, and professional conduct.

Overall Conclusion
The Entrepreneurship Certification Course successfully enhanced students’ understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, qualities, and skills. Through storytelling, group activities, discussions, and final project assessments, students developed critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and communication abilities.
The five-day journey prepared them to face real-world business challenges with confidence, innovation, and professional competence.
