NSS Unit of SJCHS organised a Seminar on De-Drug Addiction on 19/11/2025, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at event hall of the college. The Nature of Activity was Awareness Programme – Drug De-addiction & Mental Well-being. Representative from BrahmaKumaris Foundation – De-Addiction Wing were the Resource Person. Activity In-charge was Mr. Ameer Shaikh (NSS Programme Officer).

· To create awareness among students about the dangers of drug addiction.
· To educate students about healthy ways to manage stress, desires, and cravings.
· To encourage a drug-free and healthy lifestyle among youth.
· To promote mental well-being through positive thinking and meditation practices.
Session Details:
Structure and Participation
· The seminar was organized by the NSS Unit.
· The session was interactive and engaging, with students actively listening and participating.
· The guided meditation activity received a positive response from the participants.
Outcomes:
· Students developed a better understanding of the harmful effects of drug addiction.
· Participants learned simple meditation techniques to manage cravings and emotional stress.
