Report on National Constitution Day Celebration - 2024

The NSS Unit of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences organized a solemn celebration of National Constitution Day on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The event aimed to instill awareness about the Constitution’s significance and its guiding principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
On this occasion, the NSS Representative personally visited all the classrooms across the college and recited the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. The students actively listened and participated in this meaningful exercise, reflecting on the values enshrined in the Constitution. Through this activity, the students were reminded of their rights and responsibilities as citizens of India. The presence of the NSS Representative added a sense of importance and enthusiasm to the event, encouraging students to value and uphold the ideals of the Constitution in their daily lives.
The event was successful in creating a sense of unity and patriotism among the students while reinforcing their commitment to the constitutional values of our nation.
