NSS Organises Blood Donation Camp

National Service Scheme unit of SJCHS organised a Blood Donation Camp on 11/03/2026 from 9:30 a.m. onwards at the Event Hall of the college. This was the Health Awareness & Community Service activity. The main objective was to  promote voluntary blood donation among students, to contribute to saving lives through blood donation and to create awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.

Activity Information
Objectives
● To promote voluntary blood donation among students.
● To contribute to saving lives through blood donation.
● To create awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.

Session Highlights
● Registration of participants followed by preliminary health screening and blood testing.
● Eligible donors proceeded for blood donation under medical supervision.
● Proper arrangements were made with beds and hygienic conditions to ensure a smooth and safe donation process.

Outcomes
● A total of 14 units of blood were successfully collected.
● Students actively participated, with 10 volunteers assisting in organizing the camp.
● The collected blood will benefit patients through the associated blood bank.
● The activity encouraged awareness and participation in life-saving initiatives.
