The National Service Scheme Unit of St. John Technical and Educational Campus, Palghar organized “National Unity Day” on 31st October 2020 between 10: 45 am to 11: 00 am at the Campus.

31st October 2020 is a great day in the Indian history as it is the birth anniversary of our great national leader, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who led the people and played a major role in the attainment of freedom for our nation.

At St. John Technical Campus, Palghar, we celebrated this day with an Rashtriya Ekta Diwas event. Dr. G.V. Mulgund, Principal, St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar and Some Senior Faculty Members of all the departments of Engineering attended the programme physically with maintaining social distancing. All students from different Institutes of the Campus also participated in the event through online mode on google meet.

We guided all Dignitaries, Staff and Students in the taking of National Unity Pledge online.

Finally, the event concluded with the vote of thanks. This celebration imbibed in us to “provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.”
