The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was successfully organised by St. John College of Humanities and Sciences on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 at the college Event Hall, beginning at 10:30 AM.

The ceremony marked an important occasion to formally induct the newly elected Student Council members and entrust them with their responsibilities for the academic year.

Commencement of the Ceremony: The program began with an introduction by the compere, setting a formal and welcoming tone. This was followed by the Universal Peace Prayer, invoking positivity and unity among all present.

Welcoming and Addresses: Distinguished dignitaries were warmly welcomed. The Principal, Dr. Muktha Jacob, delivered the opening address, emphasizing leadership, responsibility, and integrity among students.

The introduction of the newly elected Student Council members followed, highlighting their roles and responsibilities. The management also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to contribute actively to institutional growth.

A special address was delivered by Dr. Suhas Pednekar (Former Vice-Chancellor, University of Mumbai), who inspired the students with his insightful thoughts on leadership and commitment.

Oath Taking and Investiture: The highlight of the ceremony was the Oath Taking Ceremony, where the newly elected members pledged to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them.

This was followed by the Badging and Sash Ceremony, symbolizing the official conferment of authority and duties upon the council members.
