In order to commemorate the Guru Purnima, the Literary Club of SJCHS conducted an Essay and Poetry competition for the students. The students were asked to submit their essay and poetry written by them on the theme of Guru Purnima which celebrates the pious relationship between the Guru and the Shishya.There were total 17 entries: 13 in English, 3 in Hindi and 1 in Marathi.

All entries of the students expressed their respect for teachers and their sincere desire to learn from them and repay their debt of gratitude through a promise to excel in their studies.
