Graduation Ceremony 2021 The 9th Graduation Ceremony was held on July 31, 2021 at St John College of Humanities and Sciences. The ceremony started at 11:00AM in the auspicious presence of the dignitaries Prof. Suhas Pednekar, honourable Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, the chief guest of the ceremony Dr. D’ Henry Babu, the Director of St. Francis Institute of Management and Research and Mr. Albert D’ Souza, the Chairman of Aldel Education Trust , Palghar. The comperes Dr. Vijay Songire and Ms. Selima D’abriao gave a warm welcome to all the dignitaries. The inauguration of the ceremony started with the campus Prayer. After the prayer, Dr. Vijay Songire introduced Professor Pednekar, honourable Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University. Later, professor Pednekar addressed the gathering. He congratulated all the students on completion of their degrees. He talked on the challenges that exist in the field of education and how the students should be ready to face it.The chief guest of the ceremony Dr. D’ Henry Babu was introduced by Ms. Selima D’abriao.The chief guest also congratulated the students in his speech. He motivated all by mentioning the importance of education. Further, Mr. Albert D’ Souza, the Chairman of Aldel Education Trust, Palghar was introduced by Dr. Vijay Songire. It was followed by the chairman’s speech to the gathering. He enlightened the students with his inspiring and valuable thoughts on career. As a token of memories a video of St. John technical and Educational Complex was played which really gave a glimpse of the vibrant college campus. Going ahead, the students Seon Andrades ( B.Sc Hospitalities), Nishu Gupta ( B.sc Information technology) and Formi Dedaniya ( B.Com banking and Insurance) expressed their valuable learning experience during graduation at the campus. Later, both Dr. Vijay Songire and Ms. Selima announced the names of the awardees.The students of who were conferred with the degrees online were from the following branches : Hospitality Studies, Information Technology, B.Com (Banking and Insurance), B.Com Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Management Studies. In total 267 students were awarded the degree. At the end, Dr. Brajabandhu Das , the Principal of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences, Palghar proposed a vote of thanks. The graduation ceremony was ended with singing the National Anthem
