Business and Live Stock Exchange Event TRADE BAZAAR Organised

Introduction: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), organized “Trade Bazaar – A Business and Live Stock Exchange Event” on 20th March 2026. The event aimed to provide students with practical exposure to business activities and enhance their entrepreneurial skills through an engaging and interactive platform.

Objectives of the Programme:
• To promote entrepreneurial thinking among students
• To provide practical exposure to business operations
• To enhance financial awareness and decision-making skills
• To develop communication, marketing, and teamwork abilities

Chief Guest: The event was graced by Dr. Reuben Buthello, CEO of Bharat Coach Builders Pvt. Ltd., MIDC Taloja, Mumbai. His valuable insights motivated students to think innovatively and approach business challenges with confidence.

Details of the Event: The Trade Bazaar was conducted as a full-day event involving active participation from students across all streams.
● A total of 11 stalls were set up and managed by students
● Participants were from all academic streams
● Each stall involved registration fees and stall charges, providing a realistic business experience
● Stalls included food items, games, and innovative business ventures

A key highlight of the event was the Marketing Pitch Session, where each group was given 10 minutes to present their business idea. The session was evaluated by Dr. Jaydip Raval, who assessed the participants based on creativity, feasibility, presentation skills, and overall business understanding.

Student Participation : The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all streams. Students actively managed stalls, interacted with customers, and implemented business strategies effectively.
Approximately 100 students participated in the event, reflecting a high level of engagement and enthusiasm.

Share Trading Details (Stock Exchange Activity): As a part of the event, a Live Share Trading Activity was conducted wherein student companies issued shares and collected investment from participants. This activity provided practical exposure to stock market operations and financial decision-making.

Awards and Recognition: To appreciate and encourage student performance, the following four trophies were awarded:
● Highest Feedback Award: Company No. 7 – Mohseh & Pretty Press on Nails
● Highest Sales Award: Company No. 7 – Mohseh & Pretty Press on Nails
● Highest Profit Award: Company No. 1 – Bows and Braids
● Best Marketing Pitch Award: Company No. 9 – Taste Route
All participants were awarded Certificates of Participation.

Conclusion : The Trade Bazaar was successfully conducted and received an enthusiastic response from students and faculty. The event provided an excellent platform for experiential learning and enabled students to apply theoretical concepts in a practical business environment. It proved to be a valuable initiative in fostering entrepreneurship and skill development among students.
