Jai Hind Mahotsav 2026

The Department of Arts, in association with IQAC, organised Jai Hind Mahotsav 2026 on 13 August 2026 with the objective of nurturing patriotism, creativity, confidence and talent among students.

The programme commenced with a soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram,” followed by an address by HOD Dr. Ravi Shankar Mishra, who encouraged students to express their love for the nation through their talents. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Suchita Gharat, Principal, St. John Junior College, was felicitated by Dr. Ravi Shankar Mishra and Dr. Vijay Songire.

The event featured four competitions—Singing, Dancing, Elocution and Rangoli, with a total of 40 students participating: Elocution (3), Singing (22), Dancing (8) and Rangoli (7). The competitions provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, confidence, artistic abilities and patriotic spirit.

Participation certificates were presented to all participants, while students securing First and Second Ranks were felicitated with rank/appreciation certificates by the faculty members.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, celebrating patriotism, unity, diversity and the spirit of India. The enthusiastic participation of students and wholehearted support of the faculty contributed to the grand success of the programme.
