Session on Yoga For Hormonal Balance Held for Women by WDC

On 13th August, Wednesday, The Women Development Cell had organised a Session on Yoga For Hormonal Balance. This live training session was specifically for FYBMS and FYB.sc girl students.

The session started at 8.00 am, with a brief introduction about the guest speaker and Trainer. The guest trainer was Mr. Kamalakar Gharat, along with Mr. Mahesh sir, Mr and Mrs. Bhoir. The session started with Universal peace prayer, followed by introduction and welcoming of guests. Our principal Dr. Muktha Manoj Jacob also stressed on the importance of yoga in our daily health and wellbeing.

This Yoga session for hormonal balance focuses on practices that can help regulate hormone levels through physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and mindfulness practices. These techniques aim to reduce stress, stimulate specific endocrine glands, and improve blood circulation to reproductive organs, all contributing to hormonal harmony. There were about 36 participants.
