NSS held Martyrs’ Day Celebration on 14/08/2025, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Pachbatti Hutatma Stambh, Palghar. 13 students participated. Dignitaries and Principals from Palghar Institutions were the resource persons.

Objectives:
● To pay tribute to the martyrs of the Quit India Movement.
● To instill patriotic values among students.
● To commemorate Palghar’s historical role in India’s freedom struggle.

Target Audience: NSS Volunteers and Students from various schools and colleges in Palghar.

Methodology: The event began with floral tributes at the Hutatma Stambh, followed by narrations of the stories of the Palghar martyrs. Patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural performances were presented. The program concluded with the National Anthem and a pledge to uphold the ideals of freedom and unity.

Session Highlights: Floral tributes and storytelling of Palghar martyrs. · Patriotic songs and cultural performances. · Collective singing of the National Anthem.

Insights on National Service: Reinforced the values of patriotism and civic responsibility. · Strengthened community engagement through student participation.
