Day 01: Date: 02nd August 2025

Resource Person: Mr. Vikram Bharwada, COO NextGen Digital Solutions

Topic Covered: Introduction to the certification course, Workshop plan, Intro to entrepreneur and concepts of entrepreneurship

The certification course for FYBMS students commenced with the inaugural session. The Course Incharge Ms. Vaishnavi Sankhe introduced the Guest speakers and along with Dr. Akansha Thakur & Ms. Vidhi Dani felicitated them. Dr. Muktha Jacob, Principal addressed the students and encouraged active participation.

Mr. Shubham Kedia, Workshop coordinator, explained the objectives and schedule of the program. Mr. Bharwada elaborated on the qualities of an entrepreneur, importance of innovation, and role of entrepreneurship in economic development. The session laid a strong foundation and motivated students to think creatively.

Day 02: Date: 16th August 2025

Resource Person: Mr. Shubham Kedia, C.A. and Founder of Maestro Startup

Topic Covered: Business Idea Sharing

The session, conducted online, encouraged teamwork and collaboration. Students were grouped and asked to brainstorm new business ideas. Each group presented its concepts, fostering creativity and critical analysis.

The interactive session helped students structure and evaluate ideas while building communication skills and confidence.

Day 03: Date: 18th August 2025

Resource Person: Ms. Prachi Rastogi, Fashion Designer and Founder of Eclipse Jewellery

Topic Covered: Business Model Canvas, Channels for selling/promotions, 4 Ps of Marketing, Branding

Ms. Rastogi introduced practical business concepts with focus on the Business Model Canvas. She shared insights on marketing channels and explained the 4 Ps of Marketing with real-world examples.

Students participated in a group activity involving SWOT analysis and business model presentations. The session bridged theory with practical entrepreneurship.

Day 04:Date: 19th August 2025

Topic Covered: Costing and Budgeting

The session focused on costing and budgeting principles, types of costs, costing methods, budgeting process, techniques, and cost control. Students engaged in case studies applying concepts to business scenarios.

Discussions also covered challenges in financial planning and balancing accuracy with flexibility. The session emphasized the importance of budgeting for financial discipline and decision-making.

Topic Covered: Marketing and Sales / AI Tools for Design (Canva)

The online session highlighted customer understanding, digital marketing strategies, and sales. The resource person demonstrated Canva as an AI-powered tool for creating designs. Students learned its practical applications for posters, social media, and branding.

Key takeaway: AI tools in marketing save time, improve consistency, and enhance customer communication.

Topic Covered: Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Target Customer

The session explained MVP definition, identifying customer segments, prioritizing features based on pain points, feasibility, and impact. It aligned participants on scope and customer focus, essential for product development and marketing.

The interactive session clarified MVP approach and guided entrepreneurial strategy.

Day 07: Date: 23rd August 2025

Topic Covered: Pitch Deck, Mock Pitch, Soft Skills

A practical session where student groups presented their business ideas through pitch decks and mock pitches. The focus was on building confidence, storytelling, and communication.

The speaker gave feedback on presentations and tips on staying calm under pressure. Students practiced elevator pitches and received constructive feedback.
