The Training and placement cell had organized a workshop on the topic “Mastering Business Communication and Public Speaking” on 26th July, 2025, Saturday. The aim of the workshop was to strengthen students’ ability to communicate effectively in professional environments by focusing on both verbal and written communication, along with public speaking skills that are essential for success in the hospitality and service industry. The primary objective was to develop students’ confidence and competence in business communication through hands-on practice, real-time feedback, and exposure to structured speaking techniques. The workshop also aimed to improve their ability to present ideas clearly, participate actively in discussions, and express themselves with professionalism and clarity. 

The session was highly interactive, involving activities such as mock group discussions, individual speaking rounds, and email writing exercises. 

Students enthusiastically participated in group activities and individual “pick-and-speak” rounds. The workshop maintained a practical approach, allowing students to implement learning immediately and receive constructive feedback. 

Ms. Rishika’s engaging style, real-world insights, and personalized tips were well received by the participants. The workshop created a safe and encouraging environment for students to build their public speaking confidence.

The workshop proved to be an enriching experience for all attendees. Students gained clarity on business communication principles and significantly improved their confidence in public speaking. The real-time feedback provided by the speaker helped them recognize their strengths and areas of improvement. Overall, the session was instrumental in preparing students for professional interactions and industry expectations. The overall number of students participating in the session were about 31 participants.
