NSS unit of the college organised Vande Mataram – Collective Singing Programme on 07/11/2025 at 7:30 a.m. at the event hall of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences. For this Patriotic Commemoration, University Event Mr. Ameer Sheikh was the resource person. 112 students and 13 faculty members benefitted.

Objectives:
· To commemorate the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram”.
· To instil patriotic values and respect for national heritage.
· To promote unity and cultural awareness among students.
Methodology: The event began with a speech by Mr Ameer Sheikh, NSS Programme Officer, highlighting the historical and cultural significance of “Vande Mataram”. Participants then collectively sang the national song with dignity and devotion, adhering to proper etiquette. The event concluded with expressions of national pride and unity.
