Botanical field excursion to Chahade Forest held on 18 August 2023

First year and Second year students of B.Sc. department in SJCHS were taken to Chahade Forest for one day botanical field excursion on 18 August 2023. The objective of this botanical field visit was to develop interest towards the subject and also to train them in practical field identification of plants through leaf and floral morphology. 

The students were made familiar with plants botanical name and also about different ways of identifying them based on their vegetative state.
