Day 1: Character Day (8th January, 2025 – Wednesday)

The first day of Saptarang 2025 kicked off with much enthusiasm and excitement. The day, themed “Character Day,” was packed with vibrant performances, creative competitions, and memorable moments.

Inauguration Ceremony (10:30 AM – 11:00 AM)
The event was officially inaugurated with a grand ceremony that set the tone for the celebrations ahead. The audience, including students, faculty, and participants, were excited to begin the journey through the day’s events.

Flashmob (11:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
A lively flashmob performance followed, filled with energetic dance moves. Participants performed to a mix of popular songs, capturing the attention of everyone present and spreading the spirit of the festival.

T-shirt Painting (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Creative participants then took part in a T-shirt painting competition, where they displayed their artistic talents by designing vibrant and unique pieces of art on plain t-shirts. The designs ranged from abstract art to character sketches, all reflecting individual creativity.

BREAK (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM)

Character Day Ramp Walk (1:00 PM – 3:30 PM)
The highlight of the day, the Character Day Ramp Walk, took place next. Participants donned costumes inspired by their favorite characters from movies, books, and history. The ramp walk showcased not only their fashion sense but also their ability to embody the spirit of their characters. The competition was lively and full of energy, with the audience thoroughly enjoying the diverse array of costumes.

Qawwali Competition (3:30 PM – 4:00 PM)
To close the day, a Qawwali competition filled the air with soulful, devotional music. Participants brought their best performances to the stage, enchanting the audience with their powerful voices and traditional renditions.

Day 2: Traditional Day & Rose Day (9th January, 2025 – Thursday)

Day 2 of Saptarang 2025 continued the excitement with a blend of tradition and creativity. The theme for the day included “Traditional Day” and “Rose Day,” offering a variety of competitions that highlighted cultural and artistic expression.

Singing Competition (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
The morning started with a melodious Singing Competition. Participants showcased their vocal skills by performing songs across various genres. The performances were heartfelt and impressive, with each participant bringing something unique to the stage.

Traditional Couple Ramp Walk (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Next up was the Traditional Couple Ramp Walk, where pairs of participants dressed in traditional attire took to the runway. This competition celebrated cultural heritage through colorful, elegant outfits, and couples worked together to impress the judges with their coordination and poise.

BREAK (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM)

Dance Competition (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
The Dance Competition was the grand finale of Saptarang 2025. Dancers from all backgrounds came together to perform diverse styles, from classical to contemporary. The performances were high-energy and visually captivating, with each group vying for the top prize. The audience was captivated by the creativity, skill, and passion of the participants.
