As part of the academic curriculum, a field visit to Coconut Valley Resort, Kelwe, was organized under the open elective subjects of Principles of Management and Environmental Issues Management. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the management, entrepreneurship, and agricultural sectors. Through direct interaction with industry professionals and on-site observations, students gained valuable insights into resort operations, business strategies, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Objectives of the Visit
The primary objectives of the field visit were:

Coconut Valley Resort Tour: The team arrived at Coconut Valley Resort at 10 AM and was welcomed by the resort owner, Mr. Parth Gharat. A guided tour was conducted, highlighting key aspects of resort operations:

- Staffing & Workforce: Roles and responsibilities in the hospitality sector.
- Challenges in Management: Seasonal demands, customer satisfaction, and market competition.
- Marketing Strategies: Techniques used to attract visitors, including digital marketing.

Visit to Betel Leaf Farm and Orchid Poly Farm
Visit to Greenhouse (Betel Leaf and Orchid Production): Following the resort tour, students visited Betel Leaf Farm and Orchid Poly Farm, where Mr. Gharat explained:
- Farm Operations: Techniques used for betel leaf and orchid cultivation in a controlled greenhouse environment.
- Sustainable Practices: Eco-friendly methods for maximizing yield, including water conservation and organic farming techniques.
