Annual Day 2018

St. John Technical Campus celebrated its Annual Day on 13th January 2018 with great enthusiasm.

Eminent personalities with diversified background graced us on this occasion. We had Rev. Fr. Praveen Vijaya Martis (Principal St. Aloysius College, Mangalore) as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Albert W. D’Souza (Chairman of Aldel Education Trust), Mrs. Elvina D’Souza (Secretary), Mrs. Elaine D’Souza-Buthello (Treasurer), Mr. Aldridge D’Souza (Member), Dr. Gopal Mulgund (Principal of St. John College of Engineering and Management), Dr. Savita Tauro (Deputy Campus Director and Principal of St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research) and Dr. C.C. Patil (Principal of St. John College of Humanities and Sciences) and M,Vikramsingh Joshi (Incharge-St.John Junior College)were the dignitaries on the dais.

The Chairman welcomed the guests and addressed the students. The faculty & the students were motivated by the encouraging talk of the Chief Guest.

The Annual Day cultural presentation was based on “Incredible India”. It was a combination of songs, dances & skit related to the theme. St. John College of Humanities and Sciences set the ball rolling on the theme “Indian Sportsmen” as a tribute to all the sports person of our country. St. John Junior College showcased the folk-dance of Kashmir, Assam and West-Bengal. St. John Institute of Management and Research students showcased the Punjabi Folk Culture. The Maharshtra State Cultural traditions were showcased by the students from St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research . Finally the students of engineering degree section of the St. John College of Engineering and Management performed on the states of UP, MP, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Goa and the polytcehnic section students performed on South Indian States.

The audience was truly engrossed throughout the function by the energetic and enchanting performances of the students. The programme was ably compeered by students Ms. Nisha (MMS) & Mr. Prashant (SJCEM). The vote of thanks was given by a student Mr. Prashant (SJCEM).
